The Brief
The client’s old website built with WordPress had become non-functional over the years and they needed something quick to aid them in their fundraising efforts. The scope was deliberately kept simple in order to get it deployed in a little under a week.
The Process
I focused on having a design that felt put together, instilling confidence in potential donors, while at the same time having some playfulness and character. I had initially planned on having this be an entirely static website, but ended up using SvelteKit for templating so that we could easily retrofit a CMS later.
The Result
The client had a chic new website up and running in a week, ready to support their fundraising efforts. The website is still fully accessible (keyboard navigability, alt text, etc.) and scalable (templated with SvelteKit), so I am happy with the result too.
